WAMMCO welcomes Jordan Hunter to the Katanning team

Posted on July 1, 2026

Jordan Hunter recently joined WAMMCO at our Katanning plant as Administrative Manager. We managed to pull her away from her desk for a quick chat about the journey that brought her to the Great Southern.

Jordan’s career has been anything but local. She spent years living and working across the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia before a third trip Down Under, 18 years ago, changed everything. She met her now-husband and made the decision to trade a jetsetting lifestyle for the serenity of the Wheatbelt.

While she took a break from the workforce to raise three boys – now on the path to becoming fifth-generation farmers who embody the spirit of country life – Jordan is no stranger to agriculture. She spent six years all up with Elders Rural Services in Kojonup and remains deeply involved in the family farm outside town.

“I enjoy staying active and learning something new each day,” Jordan says. “Especially when it comes to deepening my understanding of farming and supporting the industry that our family is so much a part of.”

When she isn’t keeping things running smoothly at the Katanning plant, you’ll usually find Jordan behind a camera (her favourite subject to date remains the landscapes of Santorini), cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or spending time with her beloved dogs. And a fun fact to finish on: Jordan and her husband share the same first and last name – thankfully with different middle names.

Jordan and her family also recently returned from an 18-month cultural immersion in America, bringing a fresh global perspective back to her work here in WA.

We’re thrilled to have Jordan’s mix of international experience and local, boots-on-the-ground knowledge in the office. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to the WAMMCO family.
